Going the extra mile

February 5, 2019

We warmly welcome feedback from members of The Nurseline Family on the support, training and service we provide so it’s always great to hear from a clinician thanking us for going the extra mile – it’s what makes what we do so worthwhile!

Jo, a Nurseline RMN, was looking for a new opportunity and wasn’t sure where to start.  Jo approached Louise Jarrett and team to see if she could try something different with the hope of finding a permanent role.  Louise spent time understanding Jo’s goals and aspirations and spotted a potential opportunity with a hospital trust who weren’t actively looking for someone with Jo’s expertise, but Louise realised that Jo’s experience, skills and personality would be a great asset to them.  So on Jo’s behalf, Louise approached the trust with great success, as Jo is now employed by the trust as a community nurse and is loving every minute of it.

As Jo comments: “Before I approached Louise and team, I knew I wanted to explore new avenues but didn’t know where to start or how to go about it.  The team made me believe in myself and in what I had to offer and really listened to my long-term career aims and goals.  They knew the roles that would be good for me and were proactive in finding the right opportunity, where it would be a two-way street and my skills and experience would benefit the organisation.  Working in outreach/SOMPAR is brilliant – I love my job and I can’t thank Nurseline enough!”

Louise Jarrett adds: “Jo is such a brilliant nurse and has such a lot to offer.  We are delighted to have been able to take an active role in Jo finding her dream job.”

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a new opportunity, why not find out how The Nurseline Family may be able to help you find your ideal role.
